SANJEEVAN AASHRAM (OLD-AGE HOME):

An Old age home with a difference is what one can see here. The premises where it is situated is the House of Dr.Ghate who had donated to Ahilya Mahila Mandal for this Old-Age Home, which is of more than 4500sq.ft (approx) area, enriched with a homely ambiance, facilitated with all the amenities required for a happy life. As the infrastructure is not modified and kept as a house which gives the old people very homely atmosphere.

There are 17 people staying in the Vrudhaashram. Many are couples, who decided themselves to stay here. Some people who don't have any children are also accommodated as they don't have anybody to take care of them. Some people's family members (son\daughter)pay a regular visit to them. Needy is accommodated on payment of very nominal amount as fees to maintain the infrastructure, but this is relaxed if somebody is unable to pay due to poor economic condition. Homely atmosphere and family like interaction makes this old age home different in all the aspect. As all the rooms are shared by 2-3 persons depending on the area. Daily visit by a Doctor, Regular blood Testing and other check-ups are done in the pathological lab available in the same premises.

PATHOLOGY LABORATORY:

This Pathology lab is situated in the same premises to facilitate the old people of the Vrudhaashram. Service is also rendered for outsiders also at a very minimal cost. Being a small town medical service like this, plays a vital role. To specially quote this Lab is also run by women only.

MUKTAI VIDYAMANDIR (primary school):

Primary school for 1st to 5th standard of Marathi Medium, Which has been recognized by the Maharashtra state. Running a school is not an easy task in a small town; there are many challenges to be faced. This school is specially targeted for tribal population. As there is very less rate of education in many tribal.

EKAL VIDYALAY (MAHATMA PHULE SCHEME):

Ekal Vidyalay basically mean one teacher one school; this is practiced in rural and remote tribes. The children who had discontinued there education or never went to school are taught a programmed syllabus (Bridge-Course) and then admitted to suitable class in a regular school in next academic year. Remote and rural areas are covered by teachers under this program, which is coordinated by Ahilya Mahila Mandal.
