Entering the village

As the monsoon begins, it brings various things along with it. One of which is water borne diseases. Especially Tribal population is prone to this, as they have no mechanism to purify the water.

Jalvardhini Pratisthan came up with a solution to this problem, of distributing chlorine bottles to these tribal, so that drinking water can be purified to some extend which would in turn help avoid any waterborne disease.

This initiative was also supported by rashtraseva. More than 500 Chlorine bottles were distributed among various Tribal hamlets.

Our team was also accompanied by six medical students, who had decided to take up a regular medical activity for these tribal areas of Karjat.
